Biocel is at the Forefront of Innovation since it was Founded by Brewing Chemist and Former International Cyclist Karl McCarthy for the Supply of Products to the Irish Brewing and Dairy Sectors in the 1960”s.

The company is founded by Dr Karl McCarthy on the 7th July 1966, shortly after he was elected and admitted as a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chemistry on the 20th May 1966.
1971
Japan

Dr. McCarthy toured Japan. He visited companies such as The Kirin Beer Company in Takasaki, Gunma, pictured above, to share ideas in brewing methods.

Our products are manufactured at our plant in Cork, Ireland. Our facilities include four dedicated manufacturing plants, covered and uncovered storage areas and a number of bulk chemical storage tanks. We deliver our products throughout the island of Ireland using our dedicated fleet of Hazchem compliant vehicles.
