Biocel’s Supercleen HSB is a caustic soda based liquid detergent used for Brewhouse Cleaning, Fermentation Vessels, Conditioning Tanks, Kegs and Bottles. Formulated for use in cleaning in place (CIP) applications.
Biocel’s Supercleen HSB combines a blend of caustic, sequestrants, crystal deformations agents, de-scalers and deposit inhibitors, perfectly formulated for automatic brewhouse cleaning.
Brewhouse Cleaning Detergent
The presence of crystal deformers ensures that calcium carbonate entering the system from hard rinse water will not scale the equipment during the rinsing process. (traces of sodium hydroxide persist and tend to precipitate carbonate blooms)
- May be circulated up to 85°C.
- Contains sequestering and crystal deformation agents
- Scale and deposit inhibition properties at high levels of dilution in hard rinse water.
- May be dosed by conductivity probe monitoring and suitable metering pumps.
Supercleen HSB is supplied in 25L, 200 L and 1000L transi-tank or bulk tanker.

Due to its ability to penetrate soil rapidly, Supercleen HSB is particularly suitable for use in CIP systems within the brewing , distilling & beverage.
Effective at a wide range of operating temperatures, Supercleen HSB benefits from a very wide range of applications, most notably its use in the automatic cleaning of brewhouse plant, FV, conditioning tanks, kegs and bottles.
Both temperature and usage rate varies depending on the level of soil present and plant operating conditions. Biocel will be pleased to deal with any of your technical queries.
1.5 – 2.0 % w/v brewhouse & FVs.
0.8 – 1.0 % w/v lines & conditioning tanks.
