Lameness Management for Your Herd

| Application | Biocel's Opti-Heel plus is a peracetic acid-based foaming biocidal footbath additive for the foot bathing of cows and sheep. Added to Biocel's Opti-Heel, Opti-Heel Plus adds a deep cleaning biocidal action to the footbath at a low usage rate of 1%. Opti-Heel Plus can also be used as a Biocidal booster in foot bathing solutions not containing copper or zinc or as a stand-alone biocidal hoof wash. Use biocides safely. | Use Instructions | Mix 1% Opti-Heel Plus with a 1% solution of Opti-Heel in the footbath let animals stand on a clean yard for 5 mins post foot bathing, for best results use a pre-wash bath or wash the hooves in the parlour. Replenish the bath with Opti-Heel plus daily. At times of high challenge, foot bathing is an important part of a lameness management program. Other factors in good lameness management are hygiene, good nutrition and general herd health. Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use. |
