Chlorophenolic taints refers to a group of chemical compounds that contain both chlorine and phenolic groups. In the context of beer and other beverages, chlorophenolic taints are often associated with undesirable off-flavours that can be caused by certain chemical residues in the brewing or dispensing process.

 

  • An/TCPate may be used with automatic or wash bottle systems and is non- corrosive to all common dispense systems.
  • An/TCPate uses hyroalcoxy technology in combination with standard sulphite chemistry to combat chemical residues. Over time beer lines may absorb phenolic materials, this can give rise to objectionable antiseptic-like off-flavours. An/TCPate has been formulated to extract and neutralise these components.
