What
measures can I take to prevent infection?
Good
cleaning and hygiene practices help to reduce transmission
of all viruses including the human swine influenza.
The
WHO (World Health Organization) recommend washing your
hands regularly with soap and water and drying them thoroughly.
Where soap and water is not accessible or practical, an
Alcohol Hand Rub is recommended.
The human Swine Influenza will survive on hard surfaces
for over two hours. Frequent cleaning of hard surfaces
(e.g. worktops & door handles) will help to reduce
