| CLUSTER XX |
MOST POWERFUL CLUSTER DIP SANITISER ON THE MARKET
* CLUSTER XX is a Concentrated Peracetic Acid Sanitiser suitable for Cluster Dipping and Automatic Back Flush System.
* Rapid action to reduce cross contamination and to control the spread of Mastitis within your herd.
* Eliminates potential taint issues that may arise from Hypochlorite use.
* Very low Usage Rate of 15 ml per 10 litres.
* Powerful, Versatile, Environmentally Friendly Cluster Sanitiser.
NEW FOR 2010
Due the phenomenal growth in cluster dipping over the last 2 years and to provide Irish Farmers with an even more cost effective solution for reducing SCC, Biocel Ltd have now
launched CLUSTER XX.
SANITISER
Cluster dipping with CLUSTER XX protects against mastitis by controlling the spread of harmful bacteria that can be transferred on the clusters between cows for as little as 0.6 cent per cow per day.
NO RESIDUES
CLUSTER XXis a unique advanced formulation based on Hydrogen Peroxide and Peracetic Acid. The working solution is odourless and will not taint milk. The working solution does not have to be rinsed off, as the break down products are water, oxygen and carbon dioxide.
CLUSTER XX performs better than chlorine for cluster dipping applications due to its rapid sanitising action which is critical due to the short contact time the solution will have on the cluster before being fitted to the next cow.
INFECTION PREVENTION
90 –95 % of all mastitis cases are caused by micro -organisms invading the mammary gland via the teat end. Peracetic acid based products such as CLUSTER XX have a proven kill
rate against the 3 major mastitis causing bacteria:
Staphycoccus aureus, Streptococcus agalactie, Streptococcus dysgalactie
In common with many bacterial infections prevention has been proven to be more cost effective than the cure. In farm trials cluster dipping has proven to be an ideal cost effective tool to prevent the spread of mastitis within the herd.
CONTROLS CROSS INFECTION
Teagasc data estimates that a herd with an average SCC of 250,000 SCC has 25 % of the cows infected with mastitis. These cows while they may not show any signs of Mastitis can infect the next 8 cows going through this milking unit. This cycle can be broken by dipping, spraying or backflushing the cluster using CLUSTER XX between cows.
CLUSTER DIPPING PAYS
Teagasc currently estimates that mastitis is costing Irish Farmers between €9,000 to €98,000
per annum depending on herd size.
Further information from Teagasc outlines that every 50,000 increase in SCC above 150,000 results in a subsequent decrease of 2.5% in milk production, therefore with the margins from milk production projected to remain tight in 2010, cluster dipping is a low cost, effective method of cutting your mastitis related costs while also helping to maximise milk output and ensuring maximum price is achieved from your processor for low SCC milk.

| Solve your thermoduric problems, now even more savings with SERPENT! |
Serpent has now been launched in 10 & 25L drums. This allows an 8 unit farmer to sterilise & descale for less than 50cent/day.
Serpent is a revolutionary product that has a treble action,
1. Serpent will totally eliminate acid descaling when used as part of a daily cleaning regime. This elimination of scale formation has proven consistent in the reduction of thermoduric bacteria, even small levels of milkstone formed between routine descaling can be enough to trigger high thermodurics counts.
2. Serpent, when added to the final rinse will safely sanitise the milking equipment and unlike Chlorous will not form dangerous by-product and taint the milk
3. The product can totally eliminate the risk of contamination of milking plant by the erratic quality final rinse water. A major problem in getting high TBC's is that even though plants would have been worked with high quality detergents such as Circodine P or Multisan the final rinse water used to rinse the plant may at times contain bacteria which reinfect the plant leading to high TBC's in your milk.
Serpent can also be used for Cluster Dipping @ 30ml per 10L of water (rate 1:350)
Introducing cluster dipping into the
milking parlour routine can result in
dramatic reductions in somatic cell counts & mastitis cases within a herd. Cluster Dipping & good
hygiene within the parlour can help break the cycle of the
disease, by putting a barrier between the infection and the
next cow will help prevent cross contamination and reduce
the risk of spreading the disease through the herd.

Circodine P has no effect on rubberware when used at the correct concentration.
Circodine P is an all in solution, without the need to add sachets or add liquid chlorine.
Multisan – offers all the benifits of Circodine P in a liquid form. The use of liquids has grown over the last 10 years as milking tanks & plants have moved towards automatic dosing of detergents.
